Primary Phase

A very warm welcome to the Primary Phase at Temple Learning Academy.

We are very pleased that you have visited our site and hope you find the information useful. We are in the unique and positive position that the relationships that we build from EYFS go beyond Primary and now extend into KS3 to ensure that your child is supported throughout their 12-year academic career. We are confident that TLA offers a different approach to collaborative learning and by being on a shared site from EYFS to KS4 we are able to maximise all opportunities to enrich and enhance our curriculum. This is done with specialist teachers in KS2 for Science, Spanish, Music and PE; high quality learning environments for Primary lessons, for example, fully equipped science labs and high-quality libraries; opportunities to develop playground leaders and buddy readers with students from the Secondary Phase and highly skilled teachers and leaders across all Key Stages in Education. 

Your child's learning and wellbeing is the focus for all we do. 'Through our CORE values of Courage, Opportunity, Respect and Excellence we build exceptional relationships, underpinned with a restorative approach to solving any issues. Through these relationships, attitudes to learning are excellent and all children are able to talk about their learning and know how to access support within their classrooms. Our curriculum is exciting and develops a sense of pride in their community, a thirst for knowledge and therefore develops ambitious students who are ready for the challenge into KS3.
