After School Clubs and Core Club
At Temple Learning Academy we strive to offer a full programme of after school enrichment.
We have a huge variety of after school clubs including Art, drama, Sports, Dance, Film and Computer Clubs that run between 3 and 4pm (Mondays-Thursdays). We ran 13 clubs during Spring Term 1. Some of our KS2 clubs are delivered by secondary specialist teachers which really helps develop the skills of our pupils in preparation for secondary school.
We are proud that these after school clubs are provided free of charge and that over 250 children in Primary are able to attend a club every term. It is our commitment that every child who wishes to experience a club will be able to do so for at least 12 weeks of the academic year.
Core Club
We are very aware that starting the day with breakfast is essential, care and support outside of school hours to support our community and working parents and carers is crucial in building strong relationships from the start.
At TLA we have seen a significant increase in the number of families requiring support before and after school to ensure that they are able to be at work. From listening to parent/carer surveys we have developed both a Breakfast Club and Out-of-Hours Provision , The Core Club, for working families.
Breakfast club runs from 8am (Monday-Friday) and costs £1 per child per day.
Our wrap around provision, The Core Club, was launched in January 2023 and runs from 3pm until 6pm (Monday-Thursday) during term time. We charge £8.50 per child per session and deliver a selection of fun activities as well as a healthy, light meal.
For further information or to request a place at either provision please email info@tla.rklt.co.uk and someone will be in touch to confirm places.
