Pastoral Guidance is a session each morning when students receive a warm welcome from their Form Tutor and spend time with their Form Group. In this session, students have their uniform and equipment checked to ensure they are ready for a successful day of learning. Students have ready access to the wider Pastoral and support team during this time to get any help they need. We work hard to give students a strong start to the day. It feels like a traditional form time, centred around a strong, warm and supportive relationship between students and their form tutor. We see Guidance as the building block at the foundation of a successful day of learning.
Excellence is a 25 minute "super study period" for all students to invest in their personal excellence. Please see this link for more information about the content of these sessions for each year group.
