Parent / Carer Consultations

Throughout the academic year, there are opportunities for parents and carers to come into school and take part in celebrations and activities alongside your child.

We pride ourselves on building strong relationships from the start and know that this is the key to great attendance, strong collaboration, and positive attitudes to learning. As well as daily, informal, contact with class teachers and leaders on the playground and at classroom doors, we also plan events throughout the year to build collaboration and offer the opportunity to be part of your child's learning.  

As well as this informal collaboration there are three formal opportunities to discuss learning during Consultation Evenings. In Autumn and Spring Terms, parents and carers have the opportunity to book an appointment with the class teacher to discuss progress and targets. These meetings will focus on the learning and wellbeing of your child and offer an opportunity to pass on key information and share ideas of how to best to support next steps. We value this time with parents and carers as the experts on your child. To ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to attend, meeting times are flexible and booked to suit the needs of parents and carers. The final formal meeting offered in the academic year follows the child's report in the Summer Term and appointments can be booked to discuss the content of the report and celebrate the achievements of the year.
