School Meals
At Temple Learning Academy, all our school meals are prepared on site, fresh, by our experienced catering team, headed up by our Catering Manager Rundeet Sirah.
Cooked meals, including a vegetarian option, are offered to all children and all our food meets national Food Standards criteria.
How to Pay
We use a CASHLESS CATERING SYSTEM. Pupils wishing to purchase a school meal must do so via our PARENT PAY portal by loading money on to their individual accounts. Parents of children in Year 3 onward can see that their child has received a meal on the portal. If you need any support setting up or using Parent Pay please contact the admin team.
In some circumstances we will accept cash payments to top up your child’s account. This can be done at the main office or using our re-valv machine situated on the ground floor of the school which students can use themselves.

Packed Lunches
If you would like your child to have a packed lunch please refer to our guidelines below. Please provide your child a healthy lunch and with water as a drink. We do not permit sweets, energy drinks or fizzy lemonade at lunch time.

Food Allergies and Intolerances
It is the parent’s responsibility to inform the school of pupil’s food allergies and to keep school up to date of any change in circumstance.
The school keeps a note of allergies on pupil records which can be accessed by the relevant staff. In order to maintain the health of children with allergies, sharing packed lunch food is not permitted.
All of our menus are marked with allergens.
All of our pre-packed food adheres to the labelling requirements as outlined in Natasha’s Law. All labels will show the name of the food and a full ingredients list, with allergenic ingredients emphasised within the list.
